Celebrate Teacher Leaders: Apply for the 2021 Teacher Leader Impact Award

Do you know a teacher leader who deserves recognition for the impact they have had in their district this year? Good News! You can recognize them with a nomination for the Teacher Leader Impact Award.

The award is meant to celebrate all the teachers leaders who take on all the “extra” to impact their broader school and district community. This award is focused on the impact of their efforts and initiatives—we want to highlight the teacher leaders who have created a sphere of influence that goes well beyond their classroom walls.

There’s no right or wrong definition of impact, in our books. We know that teacher leaders are creating change in a multitude of ways, and we want to hear about it all! District-level administrators are encouraged to nominate a teacher leader who is making a measurable impact on others and creating lasting positive change in their district.

You can find the nomination forms available at https://teacherleaderimpact.org. If you are a teacher who is reading this and immediately thinking about one of your colleagues who deserves the recognition, send the link to an administrator in your district to submit the nomination.

The award entry process is free and should only take about 10 minutes to complete. We are requesting that administrators submit only one nomination each.

And if you’re wondering whether it’s worth the effort… We’re going to publicly recognize ALL nominees. In addition, one teacher from each state will receive a special surprise from us in the mail.

The deadline for entries is April 21, 2021. We’ll announce nominees and winners during Teacher Appreciation Week 2021!
