Megan Schlagel
St. Vrain Valley School District – Longmont, Colo.
High school math teacher Megan Schlagel has been an educator since 2009. As a proud native and graduate of her school district, Megan is an enthusiastic leader of budding mathematicians at Niwot High School.
Megan regularly participates in district professional development courses to continue growing in her teaching practice. As a lifelong learner, she continuously works on developing her math instructional skills.
Honoree Megan Schlagel shared this about being a lifelong learner:

Math educator Megan Schlagel is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of teachers.
This year, Megan mentored a brand new math teacher using video reflection to provide modeling of instruction and observe her mentee.
For her dedication to lifelong learning, Megan will receive 2023-34 school-wide access to AI Coach to support teacher professional development.
