To build the Science of Reading pathway in AI Coach we partnered with literacy experts to review our coaching model and to ensure topics are all aligned with best practices. We also collaborated with Digital Promise to ensure the recommended strategies are evidence-based.
Every strategy recommended for teachers is supported by 3-5 published studies showing how these approaches predict student outcomes. Additionally, each strategy was analyzed for its connection to specific teaching skills.
How much does the Science of Reading training cost?
The Science of Reading pathway is included with an AI Coach subscription. Most schools can provide the AI Coach platform to their entire building for $3,450 or less.
For context, in-person coaching averages $1,670 per cycle. AI Coach provides additional coaching capacity for as little as $10 per cycle.

How long does it take to complete an AI Coach cycle?

Teachers can engage in the coaching cycle at their convenience and complete it over multiple sessions. In total, the process can be completed within two hours (similar to in-person coaching).
In addition, the coaching provided is actionable and ongoing. With unlimited access to coaching cycles, teachers can continuously focus on improving different areas of their practice. This approach ensures that professional development is practical and readily available whenever teachers need to enhance their Science of Reading skills.
Are the videos secure and private?
Yes. Videos uploaded to the AI Coach platform are protected with single-sign-on security and are only viewed by the teacher who added them.
